To whom it may concern,
Faux Slang made a little faux pas. The record release had to be cancelled due to inclement weather. Where we live there seemed to be a whole lot of hoopla. I had it from an inside source that it would be no big whoop. FACT: I got Irene on the horn and she told me herself. She says to me, “Oh big record release, you say? My word. We’ll I suppose I won’t go inland… no great shakes there anyhow.” But alas, fear got the best of the rest of us and anticipating a poor turnout, the bands collectively called it.
Anyway, it gives us more time to prepare an EVEN BIGGER AND BETTER BIG SECRET PIZZA PARTY! Look for that in October as well as a few other opportunities to see Faux Slang in Philly and elsewhere. If you can’t wait until then you can check us out September 13th at Teri’s for FREE!!! The record WILL be for sale at all future shows - while supplies last. For now, get ‘em while they’re hot!
